Here is a partial performance of Jackson performing "Banks of New York City" at Ruta Maya. The video was recorded at Daisy Riprock's South by Southwest party sponsored by the Austin Daze.

UPCOMING ALBUMS ARE SO HOT AND SO COOL....

NewsJackson has so much new material that he started to record a second album to keep up while finishing "Handwritten Letters." Apparently the music he's recording is so hot that the computer that it's being recorded on has fried. Completely.

"Computer superwiz Matt Silaski told me he had never seen anything like it," Jackson explained. "A lot of major components had melted, almost as if the system had been hit by lightning."

Jackson joked that it must have been because the music was too hot and blasted the circuitry, while Silaski surmised that the music was so cool, even this top notch computer system couldn't handle it.

A REVIEW OF "GROW UP TO BE A CHILDHOOD GENIUS"

NewsAll the Brush Strokes Are Clean and Wide:

Jackson's New CD, Grow Up To Be a Childhood Genius

? by Duggan Flanakin

? Good songs come from deep inside the guts of people who have lived real lives. The songs tell us something about their own struggles and triumphs but also stretch out into our own psyches to transform our own perspectives and hopefully our attitudes and actions. Listening carefully to the songs of a seasoned troubadour can be dangerous to our status quo - because they force us to be honest, to confront ourselves and our prejudices - our excuses, too - and make decisions whether to allow the music to change us for the better.?
